My wife and I decided to purchase the Proform 505 CST Treadmill a couple of months ago and we certainly do not regret that decision. As we are determined to get in shape, the machine is used quite a lot. I must say, this machine exceeded our expectations as all type of workouts have been just great. It is a rather large machine with a large walking/running surface, but it doesn’t take a lot of space as it folds up just great because of its space saver design. I am also quite impressed with the speakers on this treadmill.

It is not difficult to assemble it; I managed to complete it in roughly two hours. For the most parts the instructions are clear, except for the part on the screws to use on some parts of the machine, where the instructions were a bit vague. My wife loves the speakers on the machine, but I love that it is a rather quiet and smooth piece of equipment.

I recently purchased this treadmill and asked someone to assemble it. Although it was not the first treadmill assembled by this guy, he needed two hours to complete it. Well, I am just glad that I have asked him to do it! I have started to use the machine and I am impressed. It is a well built, stable machine fully able to support my considerable weight. It is not the most silent machine, but, hey, all machines make some noise.

It features some rather small speakers, but this is a treadmill, not some fancy stereo equipment. Is has an iPod jack and cable to connect it with your iPod. I also purchased the iFit module (not included with the unit) to track my workouts. I have a mostly sedentary lifestyle and this machine is just perfect for me.

As I wanted to get in shape, I have decided to buy a treadmill. I have purchased this model basically because I considered it an excellent deal, as there was no tax or shipping cost. As it includes easy to follow instructions, it is not difficult at all to assemble it. However, it does require a certain amount of time to get it fully assembled.

It is a good machine, which is solid and well built. So far, it works without any problems and can support weights of up to 260lbs. It is a relatively quiet and very user-friendly machine. This is not the smallest available treadmill on the market, so don’t purchase it of you are looking for a small foldable treadmill. Overall, I am happy with it because it is a good machine at a good price and it is extremely simple to use.
